    This isn’t a trucking company as you describe it. It would be a broker, and by what you state this seems to be what you are looking to do anyway.
    Check out the load brokers and see what their sites are all about.

    Yes, But I agree you want to be a Broker, you Will need to apply for a broker license through DOT cost $300.00, you will need a cash security Bond of $10,000 with a bonding company, when you apply or within 90 after that. Plz keep in mind that you will need freight to move, and if you don’t have freight getting started will take sometime but can happen.

    Look at Freight Broker site take class this will help you a great deal and give you a real look at what you are getting into. Experience will help you a lot know something about transportation business, will help you with contacts. This salesman business, need to be good at it.

    Overhead is very little, great money, great business
