I am considering buying a car soon since I live on the Hayward Hills. I would like to know what brands of compact cars are good climbing steep hills overall? Just need opinions. It is much appreciated!

nissan or toyota, they have good amounts of torque. I bought a versa and love i average 545 miles per fill up. Just remember to turn off the a/c prior to going up hills or getting on the freeways, 4 cyl are weak especially when the a/c is running.

Most of my friends who live in places that have steep terrain prefer Suzuki’s. Their 4 wheel drive system are considered more rugged in design than others in the market. Any subcompact or compact from this maker is good.
This is an opinion and I cannot substantiate it.
